DOG FIT by PreThis® VITAL gastro feeding recommendation

• Your dog gets 2 measuring spoons of VITAL gastro per 10 kg of weight mixed into his food every day. Please divide into 1 x morning and 1 x evening. VITAL gastro can also be fed in a treat, such as some cottage cheese.
• Small dogs up to approx. 2 kg are given alternately:
  1st day 1 scoop
  2nd day 2 scoops
  3rd day 1 scoop etc.
• Please store in a cool, dry place away from light.

VITAL gastro was developed as a supplementary feeding for special digestive needs – for example, when changing diets or to support normal intestinal function.

Feeding is usually done for at least 7 days. During a bowel treatment, such as after antibiotics or as seasonal support, VITAL gastro can also be added over a period of 3 to 4 weeks. A course of treatment twice a year can help specifically supplement the normal intestinal flora.

Important note:
If soft or watery stools persist for more than 5 days (from 2 days in puppies, from 3 days in older dogs), a veterinarian should be consulted. Please also note that the cause can often lie in the food – therefore, we recommend checking the current diet as well.

VITAL gastro is intended for the acute treatment of diarrhea and soft stools and not for long-term supplementary feeding. If the cause lies in the food, for example (also due to a possible intolerance), a change of food should be considered. If the symptoms do not improve after 2 to 5 days (2 days for puppies and 3 days for older dogs), please have your dog examined by a vet.

Our products are free from undesirable additives, including genetic engineering, animal testing, gluten, fructose, yeast, soya, palm oil, flavourings, sugar, cereals and preservatives. They therefore fulfil the highest requirements for very good feed supplements.

VITAL gastro is sufficient for a 10 kg dog for 2 months.

However, it is important to consider the use of pet supplements in combination with a healthy diet and lifestyle to achieve long-term results.

Painkillers - Please note!

It is important to consult your vet before administering painkillers. Unauthorised administration of painkillers such as aspirin, paracetamol or ibuprofen can have toxic effects in dogs and should be avoided. An overdose or improper use can have serious consequences and jeopardise your dog's health. Please contact your vet to determine the correct painkiller and dosage for your dog.
