Important note regarding the dental health of small dog breeds:
Small dog breeds usually have teeth that are too close together, which can promote the accumulation of plaque. Therefore, it is especially important to ensure high-quality food and appropriate chewing material for small breeds to support normal dental health.

WHITE dental plus should be mixed into the food. This allows the ingredients to enter the saliva during digestion. Additional support for oral hygiene can be achieved with suitable chewing materials. The proportions of the analytical components are not constant, as WHITE dental plus is a natural product and the proportion depends on exposure to light, growth time, season and drying.

For dogs weighing up to 10 kg, one can is sufficient for 2 months. For dogs weighing over 10 kg, one can is correspondingly shorter. For large dogs we have a 2, 4 and 5+1 offer!

WHITE dental plus is sufficient for 2 months for dogs weighing 2 to 10 kg, and correspondingly shorter for dogs over 10 kg. For very small dogs weighing around 2 kg, who only need one scoop every two days, one can even lasts up to 4 months (see instructions in the shop). For large dogs, we offer affordable value packs (2 and 4 cans) as well as a 5 + 1 offer.

A balanced and species-appropriate diet can be an important foundation for your dog's health. This includes, for example, high-quality wet food, home-cooked meals, or raw food (BARF).

It tastes and smells slightly salty from the sea. Due to the drying and gentle processing, it is highly accepted by dogs.

Our products should be fed once a day. It does not matter whether this is in the morning or evening, together or separately. However, it is important to follow the dosage recommendation and give the product regularly.

• Mix 1 measuring spoon daily with the feed up to a weight of 10 kg.
• Only dogs weighing around 2 kg are given a measuring spoon every 2 days.

Information for WHITE dental plus and FRESH customers

DOG FIT by PreThis® WHITE dental plus plus can be mixed with food or fed in a treat such as cottage cheese or liver sausage. One scoop per day is recommended per 10 kg of dog weight (the scoop is included in the packaging). Small dogs weighing 1 to 2 kg should be given one scoop every other day.

The active ingredients in DOG FIT by PreThis® WHITE dental plus are absorbed into the saliva via the digestive system and thus reach the teeth. The natural active ingredients dissolve the tartar so that it can be removed. As a natural product, it needs time to develop its effect, which should be taken into account. The duration of administration of DOG FIT by PreThis® WHITE dental plus cannot be generalized. At least 6 to 8 weeks are required to achieve initial success. Depending on the age, position and strength of the tartar, the position of the teeth (especially small breeds with teeth that are too close together due to breeding) and the quality of the food, it can also take 12 weeks or longer.

Patience is very important here. Please persevere and don't give up after just 6 weeks. However, there are also limits to natural cleaning. If the tartar is already very thick, mineralized, lumpy, all over and spread over many teeth, unfortunately you have waited too long and possibly made mistakes with regard to diet and chewing material. Tartar always has a cause and has nothing to do with the age or breed of the dog! By the way: brushing teeth is something for humans and not for dogs. Brushing your dog's teeth does not remove tartar.

If you want to feed your dog FRESH herbal mix in addition to bad breath and/or gingivitis, you should do this together with WHITE dental plus. FRESH combats bacteria that live in tartar and can cause both bad breath and inflammation in the mouth. Please add FRESH to the food once a day or feed it as a treat. The effect of FRESH on bad breath and/or gingivitis may become visible a little faster within 2 to 4 weeks. You should feed FRESH for the same length of time as WHITE dental plus, as the bacteria can grow in the dog's organism and have a long-term effect on heart, liver and kidney problems.

Dental care with coffee tree wood

You can also support your dog's dental care with a chew made from coffee tree wood. The wood of the coffee tree is special because it does not splinter, is durable and is softened by the saliva to obtain a fibrous consistency. The fibers of the wood support the abrasion of the tartar softened by WHITE dental plus and also the plaque that can become tartar over time. Recognize tartar triggers

As already mentioned, tartar always has a cause! In almost all cases, dog food is the cause of tartar and plaque, as well as incorrect and/or too little chewing material. Particularly with small breeds, which tend to have narrow teeth due to breeding specifications, you have to pay very close attention to the ingredients in their food. Of course, large breeds also need the right food. However, many dog owners do not realise that they are feeding an industrial food, although 90% of all foods are just that.

But I do feed a good food! Really?

The pet food industry is very skilful at not declaring tartar-causing and, above all, harmful ingredients as such. Successful tartar removal and prophylaxis depend to a large extent on food and chewing materials, and dry food is the unhealthy ready-made pizza for dogs. It does not belong in any bowl!

If a food is fed with tartar-promoting ingredients, even the best product may not be effective, or it may take a very long time and not be sustainable. But the promotion of tartar is only the lesser evil with many foods. Dry food in particular is partly responsible for many other diseases (renal insufficiency, thyroid, heart and liver disease, leaky gut and other intestinal problems, etc.). What does the feed declaration on the packaging really mean?

What does the feed declaration on the packaging really mean? Does the feed really contain "fresh beef" if it says so on the packaging? How is the meat content cheated? What is meat meal actually? What does hydrolysed beef, lamb or poultry protein mean? What are "nutritional additives"? What is beet pulp? What does yeast mean? What is apple pomace? What is yucca? What are mannan oligosaccharides? What is pea protein? What is dicalcium phosphate? What is sodium chloride? What is potassium chloride? Why are cereals and maize harmful? Important note regarding thyroid problems:
If your dog has a known thyroid dysfunction, we generally recommend not using our product without first consulting your veterinarian.

Background information on iodine and the thyroid:
In connection with dog nutrition and thyroid function, questions often arise regarding iodine. The thyroid gland requires iodine for its normal function. Both a long-term deficiency and a significant excess of iodine can impair normal thyroid function.

The most common form of thyroid dysfunction in dogs is hypothyroidism. This can have various causes that can affect the thyroid gland itself or higher-level control centers in the body. A congenital form can also impair the normal absorption or utilization of iodine.

Many commercially produced dog foods contain added vitamins and minerals, including iodine. With a balanced, species-appropriate diet, additional iodine supplementation is generally not necessary.

Iodine in WHITE dental plus:
The daily iodine content in WHITE dental plus is low. One scoop contains only 0.75 grams, and the recommended daily dose is one scoop per 10 kg of body weight. Very small dogs (approx. 2 kg) receive one scoop every two days.

With a balanced, high-quality diet, we consider the use of WHITE dental plus to be safe. Since iodine can also be used in raw food (BARF), we recommend avoiding other iodine-containing supplements such as seaweed while administering WHITE dental plus.

Recommendation for additional iodine intake through food:
If your dog's food already contains iodine, we recommend administering WHITE dental plus in phases, taking a break of two weeks after every 6 to 8 weeks.

The onset of effect depends on the type and severity of the underlying disease. It usually takes at least 6 weeks before the first positive effects can be noticed, possibly a little longer. Please be patient, as natural products need time to take effect.

Preferably, you should add the capsule closed to the food. Only open the capsule if your dog does not want to swallow it and sprinkle the contents into the food. This has no influence on the effectiveness.

We generally recommend long-term feeding for most DOG FIT by PreThis® products, especially for dogs with special needs or in advanced age. Continuous supplementation with micronutrients can make an important contribution to supporting the normal function of the musculoskeletal system and nervous system – especially in dogs with increased stress or age-related changes.

Exception: VITAL gastro

For short-term challenges such as temporary soft or watery stools, we recommend initially supplementing with VITAL gastro for about 5 days. The feeding recommendation is based exclusively on the acute phase.
