Dry food with a very low moisture content, in particular, can lead to dehydration and long-term stress due to excessive retention time in the intestinal tract.

Food Intolerances & Allergies

Food intolerances or allergic reactions also occur. The causes can lie, among other things, in certain protein sources or additives. The body’s natural defenses are often also impaired – for example, due to an imbalance in the intestinal flora, which accounts for 80% of the immune system.

Influence of Medication

Antibiotics or deworming treatments can temporarily disrupt digestion. They affect not only harmful but also beneficial bacteria in the intestines. Targeted support is useful to stabilize the physiological intestinal flora after such stresses.
