Our molasses is derived exclusively from sustainable sugar cane and is a valuable source of minerals and secondary plant compounds. A very small amount in FRESH serves as a natural preservative to protect the valuable ingredients in FRESH and bind dust particles. By avoiding chemical preservatives, molasses offers a high-quality alternative.

Molasses contains about 42-47% sucrose, which plays an important role in the metabolic process as a carbohydrate and disaccharide and contributes to the natural preservation of FRESH. Sucrose is also found in carrots, for example. Molasses also contains polyphenols, secondary plant substances that act as antioxidants and can protect body cells and insulin receptors from oxidative stress. The high mineral content and the presence of natural trivalent chromium are further positive properties of molasses.
